Thanks for uploading the photo. No, the Asian Hornet does not occur in southern Spain. This is an Oriental Hornet, currently present in most of the Andalusian provinces and in some other areas (while the Asian Hornet in Spain occurs in the northern third, from Galicia to Catalonia).

If you click on our "Información" tab you'll be able to see, side by side, both hornets, and you'll notice that the Asian Hornet (V. velutina) is mostly _black_, with _one_ orange-yellow band near the end of the abdomen and _partly yellow_ legs, whereas the Oriental Hornet (V. orientalis) is almost entirely _reddish_, with _two_ pure-yellow bands on the abdomen and wholly _reddish_ legs.
